Tuesday 10 October - First Day of Term 4
Dr Lyn Sharratt Visits
St Joseph's School, Wauchope
Lyn is a Professor, best selling author and hands on facilitator of educational change and improvement. For the past four years, Lyn has been guiding our professional learning through her work with our school leaders and teachers. A few weeks ago, Lyn and the other visitors were able to see our hard work in practice through our staff, classrooms and, most importantly, the students.
Lyn travelled from her home-town of Ontario, Canada across Australia to visit the schools she mentors. On visiting St Joseph's Wauchope, Lyn commented that it was 'the highlight of her week' and was very impressed with what she saw and heard. As a school, we received praise and congratulations for the work we are doing across all areas of learning.
We could not be more proud of the staff and students of our school and it was great to receive acknowledgement and appreciation for all the hard work.
